One of my favourite things about travelling is getting to experience the language of the country, but I know how hard it can be to follow tour guides speaking quickly and fluently.
That’s why I created my tours in accessible English – so that you can discover the beautiful city of Edinburgh while you interact with English and get the full immersion experience. I was born and raised in Scotand’s capital, so not only can I take you through its incredible history, but show you the secrets of the city that only locals know!

You can choose between a half day (approximately 3 hours) or full day (approximately 6 hours).
Yes, tours need to be paid in advance.
If you cancel a tour 2 weeks before the date, you can receive 50% of the cost. If the course is cancelled after this period of time, no refunds are available.
I take a maximum of 20 people on private tours.

As well as a tour guide, I’ve been teaching English since 2006. When I started The Edinburgh Experience in 2012, I began creating my own exclusive tours for my students and discovered that as well as teaching, I loved telling my city and country’s story. I now run a Scottish History class as part of my regular courses and my favourite part of each week is discussing Scotland’s fascinating history with my students.
